Greetings from the Deep South! I haven't written for about a year now, and I thought it'd be a good time to touch base, if you know what I mean. Also, I've been having thoughts about Christmas. I know you're up to your ears in production right now and hate these ridiculous last-minute letters, but stick with me. Just so you know, I've already sent a prayer up to Yo'man, mentioning some of our worse trouble spots and asking for some proactive intervention (like in Rwanda). So, we can skip the heavy stuff here.

Also, before I get into it, tell your wife I thought her preproduction work tape was very good, she's just about got the intonation problem licked and the hook on the bridge was excellent, especially where she rhymes "cookie" with "nookie." It's a little dated, maybe, and I suggest she consider replacing the rhythm Clavinova tracks with some crunchy power guitars panned left and right, but she's definitely going somewhere, and given her name and rep, she'll get monster airplay. And if we can get the video right, particularly with that pointy stage costume, she'll get more coverage than OJ on the freeway! I just wish you could get her to drop the retro vocalist image. "Samantha Claus Sings" just doesn't make it. Something a little more in tune with the times, like "SClaus Claws!" And try that rap idea on her one more time. If we could get her to do some hip-hop, I really believe you could kick back and stop building all those toys on such a ridiculous schedule. Anyway, talk to her.
